I would like to read about the different types of advertisements available for Bloggers in particular.

This is great information. I read about companies choosing to spend more advertising dollars online. It is growing increasingly popular because of the connection that is established online.

@Matt - Ya, when I first began writing this article, I had a hard time deciding what to put into it. There are just so many topics to cover, and much more detail that could be added.

Definitely plan to expand on this in the future. My goal here was to try to explain the basics, because I believe that's what people are looking for when they search for "Advertising On the Internet."

@Turisuna - What kind of ad were you placing, and what was the ad for? I think a lot of people have a lot to learn about landing pages (myself included). Bloggers will usually just advertise their home page. That's not always your best bet.

Make advertisement is not always easy, especially for the beginner, I ever tried to make an ad in internet, and the result was so shame, I only wasted my money. I think I'm not ready for that, I need to learn lot of things before put my money for the ad.

Possibly for a future article: the different TYPES of Advertising, either "Inbound Marketing" or "Outbound Marketing". T

his has been discussed frequently at Hubspot.com, because the "traditional" forms of Outbound advertising (print, TV, radio, direct mail, etc) are "Interuption Based", and do not have the reader's full attention at all times. On the internet, you have the same distinction:

Banner ads and PPC which are basically Outbound marketing.......then you have the Social Networking and Review sites with positive referrals to one's business: these are forms of Inbound marketing.

When someone finds a business at "Yelp.com" or "CitySearch" or "CityVoter" or "Yahoo Local" or sees someone's endorsement on Facebook, they are essentially "SOLD" on the idea BEFORE they click on your web site. Essentially you have the customer's permission to solicit them, because they are referred to you.
