Directories are yet another way to get links, but you need to make sure that you submit to RELEVANT categories, and use Anchor Text.

I believe in putting my website out to as many directories as possible. I know this has helped my ratings tremendously.

I know this article will get more people to think about this advantage, especially since you have been so kind to give a list of directories.
